Michael and I have been members of Dallas Knife and Fork over 15 years and have truly enjoyed the programs, wonderful dinners and fellowship of other members. We always look forward to being entertained and enlightened by the excellent speakers and performers.

We have so enjoyed our membership of nearly twenty years in the Dallas Knife & Fork Club.  It has been our privilege to meet and socialize with the finest that Dallas has to offer and so many have become valued friends.  The quality of programs keeps us coming back year after year but our favorite is always Doug Montgomery.  Our membership gives us a feeling of community.  Just to know that we are part of something that has been in existence for 94 years makes us proud of our association with the Dallas Knife & Fork Club.

My wife and I joined in 1996 when we were both working long hours in our respective careers.  That was before our twins came along.  For us, it was a guaranteed date night that we just never passed up.  Even after our twins came in 1998, we placed a high priority on having this time together.  Being in the club is an investment in our relationship with each other and in maintaining that sense of being connected to the larger community.  Oh, and the programs have given us countless stories to tell, like how Gerald Ford’s son almost gave a rookie secret service agent and his parents heart attacks and how Princess Diana worked to ensure her sons would be well grounded and connected to real life.  We even feel like we have the inside scoop on how Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart were as a couple in their everyday life.  I strongly believe this club enriches the lives of the guests and members that attend the programs.
